- ARES Emergency Exercise 2017-10-14: When operating a repeater for emergency purposes, what should happen when repeater becomes unusable?
- “Use reverse mode: transmit on repeater output frequency” … But who needs to do this? Only net control (or person relaying) needs to do this; everyone else remain on normal mode to listen on repeater output frequency.
- Establish alternate frequency(-ies) at the start in case repeater frequency becomes congested with interference (which makes first option impossible).
