      • 44 applicants, 40 passed!

    • 2 Radio in the Park
    • 2 social dinners
    • Field day: 68 people on the sign-in sheet
    • club 501(c)(3) status and Texas state tax-exempt
    • Texas QSO Party didn’t have much interest

Plans and Goals for this Year

  • Events
    • Radio in the Park (one in the Spring and one in the Fall)
    • Social dinners
    • Field Day: Bachmann Park already reserved (6 months in advance)
    • No plans for Texas QSO Party unless members express interest
  • Goals
    • Send out QSL cards: some requests are up to 5 years old and will be answered
    • School Club (or other community involvement)
      • Grant money available from ARRL
      • ISS contact possibility
      • Paul Bilke (KF5WGJ) already trying to get something started with A&M Consolidated
