Club Logo Embroidery

  • Embroidered merchandise
    • CC creations needs order of 12+ items
    • Monograms & More (henceforth M&M) has one-time $75 fee to digitize the file
      • members can choose a shirt or hat at no extra charge
      • getting it embroidered on existing item costs $15

    • what size?
    • plain-backed, iron-on, velcro
    • how much embroidery? 100%, 50%, …
    • 100 ct. 3 in. patches would cost at most $200
  • What would club like to do?
    • Jim Hanks Jr. (W5CYN): home-based embroidery business in Franklin
      • cheaper to digitize
      • may not be able to handle as much capacity as M&M
    • Dick Zimmer (W5DZ): can recommend M&M
    • Wayne Pecena (N1WP): also recommend M&M
    • Kevin Walton (N4RMF): M&M – club wouldn’t have to manage inventory

          • I really like the flexibility that it offers
          • have also done custom-designed patches in the past
          • Can also make W5BCS club logo file available to club members; maybe put some “guardrails” about usage
