    • noise floor on HF rig went very high recently
    • wideband rhythmic pulsing
    • no new electronic devices in the house
    • any suggestions?
  • N5ZKF: I’ve seen lots of noise as well. Solar activity?
    • issue with power lines or power transformer?
  • K5WTR: had similar issue at some point, and realized the gain/squelch setting had been changed
    • twist ladder line about once every foot or so
  • KK5QO: what about christmas lights?
  • W5DZ: day, night, both? what’s the frequency of the pulsing?
    • could be something in the radio itself, try another radio?
    • W5CYN:
      • in a rural area, nearest lights are far away and not flashing
      • feedline is twisted already
      • 1 sec interval
      • not as prominent on 30 m and 15 m band
      • seems to be same behavior day and night
